Sergeant Stubby is a World War 1 hero. His keen sense of smell and sharp hearing had helped saved the lives of many soldiers in the battlefield. He is honored with a gold medal from US Army General John J. Pershing and recognized as a war hero by the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC.
